newtboySad to say this guy has given me Action Movie Kid vibes.
He was good at first, but there are just way way too many uninspired attempts to keep the first viral popularity going. After the 12th lackluster sequel to the first great movie, I want to stop watching the series…same goes for internet skits. More isn’t always better.
Stop constantly chasing that popularity dragon and it might stop running away.

luxintenebrislooks like a great movie that might not want to see. having been exposed to this subject matter - hats off to John Oliver btw - it just might bring up the past seething rage again. at least, won't have to fear spoilers.
Pandora's box opened with direct-to-consumer marketing. held it a very bad idea then, and find this - and the Sackler family - a direct result of that bad idea. recall the "Cassandra's" at the time telling that this would - and did - happen. along the same lines when the S&Ls went down. faulty ideology, clear warnings ignored, and what was said to happen, happened. the same folks are still following the same playbook today.
the AMA says it leads to higher drugs prices, EU voted it down for the same reason - using the U.S. as the example, and the operation data of pharmas prove that it is more about sales than safety or R&D. The cost is too high. In currency and lives.

MordhausMost recent was Fatman. Audience scores are high, reviews not so much. I personally thought it was a great movie. The bad reviews are usually also quick to remind us of everything Mel Gibson did wrong in his past.
Does that really happen? When's the last time that guy has been in a good film that got bad reviews? Did a quick Rotten Tomato's check and the reviews seem pretty normal.

Digitalfiend says...I took it to be a parody of part 3, given the picture. It's when the dog-alien attacks in the infirmary and corners her against the wall - then realises shes carrying a ... well I won't spoil it in case someone hasn't seen it. Not a great movie but still WAY better than anything that came after. Alien and Aliens will never be topped.

Huh? I'm pretty sure we've seen some version of this shot in every Alien movie that's been made....not including Prometheus.
EDIT: Yep....in part 1 it's that scene, but with the alien and Ripley across the escape ship from each other when it happens (it happened to be on this morning and I watched), but exact same motions. In part 2, it's during the fight between the queen and Ripley in the 'loader'.
I'm not as sure when it's in part 3 and 4...and I'm not willing to watch them again to find out. :-)

Made an impression on me too as a kid. Rewatched it a couple of years ago. Definitely not a great movie. But very trippy - especially for Disney. And especially the last 10 minutes when they go into the black hole.

RFlaggYeah, I thought it was a HUGE stretch... Interesting to be sure, but I don't think it works really as the best Christian film of all time. Upvote anyhow, because it's a great movie, and interesting idea.
I don't know about the whole christian thing, but i sure do like this movie.
