Woke people be like...

newtboy says...

Learn how to read you complete moron. I showed you the lie and debunked it for you above.

I am sickened that there are so many idiotic ignorami prepared to ignore reality and reason to be in a fascist racist misogynistic anti democratic cult of ignorance. Before maga America was so much better, so much more adult, so much more logical, and incredibly more United, Trump is the great divider.
When an idiot like you claims I’m wrong, that my beliefs are just stupid, it’s great evidence that they are well thought out and correct, because you absolutely never are correct, not even a little bit. How’s that “all in on Tesla in Nov 2021” advice doing? Remember all those red tsunamis coming? Remember the charges coming for Clinton in ‘17? The trade deals that will net us trillions? The wall that will stop immigration and be paid for by Mexico? Jared creating real lasting peace in the Middle East? Remember the lie that the Trump economy was good (only president to lose jobs since Hover, first to have a negative gdp in peacetime EVER, zero investment in America, hundreds of thousands of businesses closed, education in the toilet, biggest government fraud program ever (ppp “loans”)). The “covid is a cold and nothingburger that will go away without issues” theories? 😂

You ARE just sickened because your idiotic easily debunked hate filled propaganda has never gained a single bit of traction here, and is discarded more often than not. You’ve never convinced one person with any of your stupid STUPID nonsensical whining and lying. You only posted because you got discarded, again, and threw a tantrum like the eunuch infant you are.

God Made A Dictator

Uh oh….thanks to this major shift Biden might only get 91% of the black vote this time! 😂
Hate to tell you, but Trump is not picking up votes outside the party. He is not gaining traction with the “black voting block”, or young voters, or women, or the elderly, or educated, or professionals. He’s not picking up independents, and there are zero Bernie Bros ready to vote for him out of spite. He has angry uneducated single white men on lock, but no one else.
Yes, you can find a few Kanyes that think he’s their guy…at least 1/4 of all people are nuts and an huge percentage will lie for money or clout…and 100% of all MAGA.

Abortion rights will drive the polls, and that’s a total loser for you. Enjoy.

Dodge Viper Crashes During Street Race || ViralHog

Khufu says...

If the viper had a mid-engine and traction control it wouldn't have been close, but that thing is legendary for being very challenging to drive well. Very stupid to try that with a viper on public roads without knowing what it will do!

I was shocked the hatchback seemed ahead almost all the way across the entire intersection, the viper had 8 cylinders over him.

Seems only unrealistic that they can keep traction on that track as wet as it looks. Totally looked and sounded real to me. Found myself leaning into the turns. lol

What did Reagan think about the right to vote?

newtboy says...

Bob, these are ALL right wing ploys, not left. Now you're so far gone you people are "auditing" votes using a company built on the big lie, a lie they started trying to sell in 2018 but couldn't gain traction with until 2020.

98/100 death threats were by "conservatives" (a misnomer) against democrats, independents, and even Republicans that refused to ignore the law and or lie for Trump....like Pence who you idiots still think had the power to just install Trump as president. Yes, there were a few against Republicans, usually after they announced they would break the law or support the big lie using taxpayer's money, but they were by far the minority. It's pretty insane you would complain, since Trumpsters have made that a feature of right wing American politics for 5 years now, including dozens to hundreds of actual attempts at kidnapping and murder not including Jan 6.
It's like you were complaining that a few Democrats are fat, prejudiced, ignorant, and uneducated....or another way of saying that is you're bitching only because you don't like the competition, not because you don't like death threats.

bobknight33 said:

As you stated""" inserting partisanship into vote counting, assaulting the integrity of the process and subjecting poll workers to death threats isn't creating a "honest vote system", it's degrading the most fundamental principle of democracy.""

That is what happens to conservatives in major democrat cities during the counting. Glad we are on the same page.

OMFG...can you even fucking read?
From your article I found on my own.....

...the forces of labor came together with the forces of capital to keep the peace and oppose Trump’s assault on democracy.

The handshake between business and labor was just one component of a vast, cross-partisan campaign to protect the election–an extraordinary shadow effort dedicated not to winning the vote but to ensuring it would be free and fair, credible and uncorrupted. For more than a year, a loosely organized coalition of operatives scrambled to shore up America’s institutions as they came under simultaneous attack from a remorseless pandemic and an autocratically inclined President. Though much of this activity took place on the left, it was separate from the Biden campaign and crossed ideological lines, with crucial contributions by nonpartisan and conservative actors. The scenario the shadow campaigners were desperate to stop was not a Trump victory. It was an election so calamitous that no result could be discerned at all, a failure of the central act of democratic self-governance that has been a hallmark of America since its founding.

Their work touched every aspect of the election. They got states to change voting systems and laws and helped secure hundreds of millions in public and private funding. They fended off voter-suppression lawsuits, recruited armies of poll workers and got millions of people to vote by mail for the first time. They successfully pressured social media companies to take a harder line against disinformation and used data-driven strategies to fight viral smears. They executed national public-awareness campaigns that helped Americans understand how the vote count would unfold over days or weeks, preventing Trump’s conspiracy theories and false claims of victory from getting more traction. After Election Day, they monitored every pressure point to ensure that Trump could not overturn the result. “The untold story of the election is the thousands of people of both parties who accomplished the triumph of American democracy at its very foundation,” says Norm Eisen, a prominent lawyer and former Obama Administration official who recruited Republicans and Democrats to the board of the Voter Protection Program.

For Trump and his allies were running their own campaign to spoil the election. The President spent months insisting that mail ballots were a Democratic plot and the election would be “rigged.” His henchmen at the state level sought to block their use, while his lawyers brought dozens of spurious suits to make it more difficult to vote–an intensification of the GOP’s legacy of suppressive tactics. Before the election, Trump plotted to block a legitimate vote count. And he spent the months following Nov. 3 trying to steal the election he’d lost–with lawsuits and conspiracy theories, pressure on state and local officials, and finally summoning his army of supporters to the Jan. 6 rally that ended in deadly violence at the Capitol.

You call that defrauding America? You are absolutely totally bat shit crazy, it describes a bipartisan effort defending democracy from Trump's baseless partisan attacks on it, on voting, and on truth....claiming if he doesn't win, it's rigged, if he wins, it's perfect. No where did anyone even imply voting machines defrauded anyone, it clearly states the obvious opposite, that they not only didn't have any serious issues, but also a physical paper backup that, in multiple recounts, still matched the results the machines gave.

You are such a non stop and just dumb liar. No doubt it effects your family life horribly.

bobknight33 said:

America was defrauded by these machines and the left.

Notre Dame Faculty Pens Open Letter To Delay Hearings

Mordhaus says...

As an aside, the last time this was brought up it was in the late 30's.

"Aside from President Franklin Roosevelt’s ill-fated threat in 1937 to add new Justices who sympathized with his policies to the Supreme Court, the number of Justices on the Court has remained stable.

Roosevelt was particularly upset by the Court’s 1935 decision in Schechter Poultry Corp. v. United States. The unanimous decision invalidated a key part of the National Industrial Recovery Act, one of the projects passed during FDR's 100-day program in 1933. President Roosevelt did not mince words a week later when he talked to the press. “You see the implications of the decision. That is why I say it is one of the most important decisions ever rendered in this country,” Roosevelt told reporters on May 31, 1935. “We have been relegated to the horse-and-buggy definition of interstate commerce.”

As Roosevelt started his second term, he used one of his fireside chats in March 1937 to make his case to the American people for adding more Justices to the Supreme Court who agreed with him. “This plan of mine is not attacking of the court; it seeks to restore the court to its rightful and historic place in our system of constitutional government and to have it resume its high task of building anew on the Constitution ‘a system of living law.’ The court itself can best undo what the court has done,” Roosevelt said.

The legislation struggled to gain traction and it was opposed not only by Chief Justice Charles Evans Hughes but also by Justice Louis Brandeis and members of Roosevelt’s Democratic Party."

Sky Brown the 12 year old girl and her mega ramp

newtboy says...

I had a friend in high school that had a 15' vertical ramp. He liked to climb to the roof of his 3 story Victorian to drop in, around 40'. Another friend's ramp had a big tree next to it, he liked to grab it >30' up and sit down to rest, then drop back in from the branch. He never looked scared at all.

When you're doing what you love, the fear of failure dissolves.

That's how I was able to drive 140 over unknown uneven terrain with +- 3% traction and feel good about it. It was horrifically unsafe, but some of the best times of my life I would repeat in a heartbeat if I was still able. Thanks to various broken parts including my back, that's a pipedream now. (Hilariously, maybe ironically, I broke it working on my house, not off road racing, not downhill biking, not whitewater kayaking, just removing a cast iron bathtub.)
At least there are some decent off-road video games now to keep me out of the buggy.

SFOGuy said:

It's---frankly terrifying? Even if you were supremely confident in your physical body's skills, to be any age and launch down that ramp---my imagination (and several previously broken body parts) would not let me do it. I hope she is somehow never really hurt badly...

Oh yeah, when are you going to show me these "known stories" of Democrats cheating?
You've had an entire month to find one....still nothing?
Why are you protecting these known vote fraudster Democrats when the stories of actual vote fraudster Republicans, both individuals and official campaigns, keep coming out? I know it's not because you're just a liar, so you must have another excuse. Can't you even tell us why you're incapable of exposing them? Blink three times if Pelosi is holding your children hostage.
Boss Vlad is going to send you to the gulag for not getting on this, it really distracts from your finger banging Joe track, and it's just not gaining traction because you slipped up.

Capitalism Didn’t Make the iPhone, You iMbecile

vil says...

There was no ground movement to develop the internet that was somehow community or government funded and that ultimately made it popular and useful.

In reality there was a 60s military communications project that got traction (after decades of basically spare-time tinkering development by weird individuals funded by socialism) when capitalism made home computers possible. Then it skyrocketed because profits could be made.

Socialism was an expensive land telephone line. Capitalism is five different ways I could get connected tomorrow at speed if I decide today. I just realized I stopped thinking about how fast my internet connection is years ago.

60 teens vandalizing and looting Walgreens

newtboy says...

Speaking up does not do nothing.

Sometimes reasonable people make mistakes, and when shown the error of their ways, they change.

This is not the case here. Here, a race baiting video is posted by someone with a clear history of racist posts, thoughts, language, and who gives other racists his full support. That must be denounced strongly or others who are like minded or just ignorant might feel emboldened to repeat the racism....as Bob did, repeating the racist comments from YouTube, thinking the sarcasm button shields him from repercussions.

What does nothing is remaining silent or worse, defending the thinly veiled racism. Both of those actions, like ignoring measles or kudzu, allows it to spread and gain traction elsewhere until it's intractable. Nip it in the bud every single time is the only method that helps.

Btw, imo it's a better plan to find that homeless person and buy them a meal, or socks. Take them in a store (or restaurant if they're presentable enough to not bother other patrons), let them buy what they want or need, and pay for it. Yes, you have to interact with them longer and not just drop a bill to feel good about yourself, but the results are much better, and your gift won't be stolen by others or used for drugs. Those just looking for drug money will usually refuse the offer in my experience.

? Did I say there are blatantly Hollywood winning public popularity contests or major endorsements? I certainly didn't intend to imply that.
I do, however, see Hollywood emboldened to be far more public and do things like the nation wide flier campaign this video describes. Ignore Hollywood enough, you'll see it in mainstream commercial productions and products as well. Hollywood must be exposed and opposed before Hollywood gain traction, not ignored and accepted....imo.
